Designed originally for polar research, the Akademik Ioffe is modern, comfortable, safe and ice-strengthened. There are public spaces to suit every need, from small group sessions to briefings for all passengers. A separate bar and lounge, as well as a library are ideal places to sit and relax or catch up on some reading. You can also watch a selection of movies and documentaries in the lounge. Enjoy the high quality meals prepared by the chefs in the dining room, which is large enough to host all passengers in a single sitting. Other facilities include a theatre-style presentation room, gift shop, fitness room, massage room, sauna and plunge pool.
